One-of-a-kind program designed specifically for Equestrian Athletes. This program will offer the rider improved equitation, balance, stability and control while strengthening the key muscle groups that will EXLR8 your performance.  Great for the leisure rider and the competitive athlete, this program includes an in-depth consultation and 1 hour riding and fitness assessment.
·         Choose from 4, 8, 12 week or recurring training program options
·         Equitation analysis and fitness evaluation
·         Nutrition guidance and supplement information for sports performance enhancement
·         Customized weight training, cardio, strength, stability and flexibility training programs
·         In-saddle exercises designed to improve equitation and communication with your horse
·         Specific stretching guide to prevent injury and ensure proper posture
·         Weekly check ins and biweekly evaluations to monitor progress and reassess goals

My personal experience is in 12+ years of English riding and training in the Temecula Valley, with an emphasis in Hunter, Jumper, schooling level Dressage, Cross Country, Trail Riding and a special concentration in English Equitation. My knowledge and training gives me confidence in training the western rider as well.
I  am located in the Temecula Area and will be serving a 20 mile radius for in-person training (within 50 miles available for fee). Programs also available for online/distance training format.

Hydration! Why its so important...

Water is vital to life and survival itself, responsible for more than 60% of the adult human body. Consuming enough water daily benefits the body by improving endocrine function, alleviates fluid retention, improve liver function, increase the percentage of fat used for energy, improve metabolic function, proper distribution of nutrients throughout the body, regulates and maintains body-temperature, maintain proper blood volume. You lose water in a number of ways- sweating, urinating, and even breathing causes water loss and it is necessary to replace it. Studies show that even a 2% loss of fluid will adversely affect circulatory functions and decrease performance levels. You can be sure you are drinking enough water throughout the day by doing this simple formula: Bodyweight (lbs) divided by 2 = # in ounces that you should consume daily 125 lbs / 2 = 63 oz. of water a day. Sports Drinks- popular sports drinks have been marketed to appeal to anyone and everyone, when in reality, the extra calories, sugar, carbohydrates and sodium are unnecessary for most individuals. The ingredients in these drinks are designed to refuel ATHLETES who are training for multiple hours a day and at an intensity that requires them to replenish lost electrolytes. The same goes for energy drinks… don’t even get me started! I say, if you can’t pronounce the ingredient, it doesn’t belong in your body. *Bragging Rights*

When I left my training position at In-Shape and moved to Temecula, I asked a few of my clients if they would mind summarizing their experience with training with me and my programs so I could find where I can improve my business. Because it all happened over the holidays, I didn't anticipate anyone to have the time to sit down and think of their trainer, but they did! I'm pretty excited to hear that my clients enjoyed training with me as much as I enjoyed working with them to reach their goals. Personal Trainers get the opportunity to connect with others on so many levels. Here's one of my clients' responses:

Lyndsie has been my personal trainer for months and has kept me motivated and on track. We made goals together and achieved those goals. She weighed, measured and took my body fat so I could track my progress.  As a 48 year old woman I have trouble even losing a little bit of weight.  Lyndsie taught me lifting and building my muscle mass would allow me to burn calories even when I’m
not working out.  Male trainers I’ve had in my past lacked the understanding of all the components that go into losing weight. They didn’t write things down for me and I would feel confused without them. Lyndsie always wrote everything down so I could feel comfortable on my own. Lyndsie is very smart, funny an understanding. She personally knows what it’s like to lose weight and stay fit. She is dedicated, focused and packed with information.  I achieved real results without being so sore I didn’t want to come back. Lyndsie also taught me that exercise is a life long commitment and she made it fun by showing me the proper use of machines, teaching me new exercises and new stretching techniques.  I would highly recommend Lyndsie as a personal trainer and think she will make an excellent nurse someday.

There's a first time for everything!

Well, this is my first attempt at having a blog, guess I'm only a few years behind the times! I wanted to create somewhere I could share information with my friends and clients about all things health and fitness related. I am embarking on my own personal journey towards living a healthier, happier lifestyle and I hope that sharing my experiences can help others make the same changes. On this blog I plan on sharing my own experiences, advise, knowledge, support and motivation to help you reach your fitness goals, no matter how big or small. Here's an idea of some of the topics I plan on covering in the near future:
